Users & Groups: User Management

Frontend Users

NOTE: This is for use with the authentication setting Curator Users only

If you're using Curator as the authentication source (or SAML IdP), the system will enable administrators to manage the frontend users.

To enable management of frontend users:

  1. Navigate to the backend of the system (e.g. http://curatorexample.com/backend).
  2. Log in if prompted.
  3. Click on Settings > Security > Authentication Settings in the left navigation.
  4. Select "Curator Users" for the authentication type.
  5. Click on the "Save" button.

To manage frontend users:

  1. Navigate to the backend of the system (e.g. http://curatorexample.com/backend).
  2. Log in if prompted.
  3. Click on the Settings > Users > Frontend Users in the left navigation.
  4. Click on the "New Frontend User" button to create a new user, or click on an existing user to modify user details or permissions.
